What you say is partly true. People who have had covid do have antibodies that help prevent against reinfection. People who have had the vaccine have 5x more of the antibodies than people who have had covid. This is why DonaldTrump got the vaccine even though he already had covid and covid antibodies. Plus, who wants to spend $42 on a test when the vaccine is free?
