POLK COUNTY, FL — Polk County Utilities issued a precautionary boil water notice due to a water main break in the Christina area. The utilities advised that all water users drink bottled water and/or boil water for cooking and drinking. Polk Utilities told Patch that 900 homes in the Christina area have been affected by the water main break. This notice will remain in effect for 48 hours. It was issued at 9 p.m., Friday night.
