Employment type: contract/seasonal VMA Installations, Inc. is a family owned and operated, professional installation company. We have some short term Jobs and we are looking for folks to join us now. Only serious applicants, please send us your resume or work experience, with references. Pay starts at $15/hr. We do not provide benefits. Projects can be as short as one day to as much as weeks. Products we handle but are not limited to include: Furniture/Case goods, tables, chairs, Mirrors, Artwork &; other items that need to be handled and installed with care. We guarantee our clients satisfaction and expect projects to be completed without damage. If you have experience with moving and handling boxes and merchandise, can confidently use a drill, measuring tape, level, comfortable in a construction environment, have a Professional appearance, reliable transportation, and good communication skills, we want to hear from you. Duties include: -Receiving, off loading and Distributing hotel guest room and public area products and other items. -Unboxing products, securely Installing products and discarding all debris. -You should be able to: -read layouts, - do basic math, -understand placement of products, - have experience installing into walls, - have your own hand tools, - have good tool knowledge, - be able to work well with others, - take direction when offered, - handle large and heavy pieces of furniture (moving carts provided by VMA), as well as small, fragile items, - and move carefully so as not to damage any product, property or cause injury. If you can handle a full day of typically tough labor, measure accurately, have and use your own tools, follow direction, be on time and accountable, we want you. Quick at problem-solving and excellent communication skills are valued. (Note: projects are usually in Miami, Miami Beach, and Ft.
