Press release from the Town of Brookfield: June 11, 2021 - 9:00am The Surgeon General is warning that Unvaccinated individuals are now at increasing risk for contracting one of the new variants of Covid 19.  The British variant B 1.1.7 remains the dominant variant in CT but there are increasing concerns about the Delta variant currently devastating India.  Youth are particularly at risk for contracting or spreading these these variants.  Variants spread more easily and more quickly than the original virus, hence the unvaccinated should be warned of this increased and more serious risk.  This press release was produced by the Town of Brookfield.
