Description
MADISON, NJ — The Good Grief's 5K Run and Walk held in Madison last Sunday gathered over 800 people and raised almost $160,000, according to the organization.
The funds raised from the event will support free programs for grieving children and families.
"We were thrilled to be able to bring our Good Grief children, families and the extended community together for this cherished event," said Good Grief CEO Joe Primo.
The race happened in person at Giralda Farms.
"Over the last year, our community has demonstrated incredible resilience in the face of the grief, loss and uncertainty posed by the pandemic. It was truly gratifying to see children and families walking and running to honor their loved ones."
