Stair Replacement

I need an experienced interior residential carpenter to fix a broken stair (small job, side work). I own a 1934 Cape Cod style home in Greenfield. The stairs going to the upstairs rooms are original to the home (appears to be birds eye Maple). The landing stair is split into two pieces, and the furthest away piece started to sink, so I had to cut it out. I assumed I could just cut another piece and pop it back in. I was wrong – there is nothing to brace it from and no where to nail it in. Removing the larger piece was not an option because the stairs are put together like overlapping puzzle pieces. I just need someone who can get a piece in there, secure and stable. I am planning to redo/refinish the stairs after they are repaired, so I can do that part.
