Vernon Rezoning Request There will be a community meeting to discuss a potential rezoning request for PIN# 270-06-01-0001 on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon Community Center located at 3200 SC-366, Loris, SC 29569. The meeting is to gather community input regarding a potential rezoning of the 7.73-acre parcel located on Hwy 554 to change the zoning from Limited Forest Agriculture (LFA) to allow for an additional mobile home. This property is located within the Mt. Vernon community, and the meeting is being held in accordance with recommendations found within the Mt. Vernon Rural Area Management Plan. Partial Road Closure on Industrial Park Road Partial Road Closure on Industrial Park Road A portion of Industrial Park Road in Conway, between Harris Shortcut Road and the curved section of Industrial Park Road in front of the Horry County Animal Care Center, will be closed to all traffic except construction traffic. Motorists in the area should use caution, stay alert for crews working in the area, and pay attention to all signs and traffic control devices.
