Two red eared sliders, to a knowledgeable and ideally permanent home. I took on these turtles as an emergent placement, however I don’t have the time to keep up with their needs, and have been stretching myself too thin. They are receiving treatment for shell rot- so if you are interested, I’d courage you to research that first. They have been receiving treatment once a week, however it would be more ideal for them to receive treatment a bit more frequently. I will provide the items needed for their treatment, as well as a run through of how to do the treatment. This pair is full of personality, they definitely bring me joy. They feed on a diet of greens and insects. I can provide a small amount of food to get you started. I am not asking a rehoming fee for the sliders, so if you have a set up already than they are ready to rock. If you do not currently have a set up I am willing to negotiate selling the tank and filter that they currently use. It is a 75 gallon aquarium tank. I cannot help with transporting the tank, but I’d be willing to help transport the turtles. I can deliver them within Anchorage or the valley, depending on my schedule, if you have an appropriate setup ready for them. Please reach out with any questions that you might have!
