Lucy is a gentle, sweet dog that is happy to be lazy around the house or accompany you out in the yard. She is wonderful with kids of all ages (lives with a 7 year old and 1.5 year old) and has never shown any aggression towards other animals other than one mole and one turtle that was in the yard. She is fully house trained and knows sit, lay down, speak, and shake. She will walk on a leash but she does pull, she has spent most of her time free to go out without a leash but with some work she could get used to it. She does much better on a harness. Lucy likes to be outside but really needs to be an inside dog most of the time. She gets nervous during storms and is a big baby about being too hot! She isn’t a guard dog, and will happily sleep through your Amazon deliveries. She doesn’t bark much unless you tell her to speak and doesn’t jump either. Overall she is very calm and would make a great pet for most people. We arent sure of her exact breed. We were told “lab mix” but she is pretty broad and weighs about 63lbs. She is about 8 years old, up to date on shots and we have a few months of flee medicine to provide. She doesn’t have any special health needs but her back legs tremble when she is excited/ afraid/ nervous. We have had her to the vet for it and they are not concerned. She does snore when she sleeps! We are sad to need to rehome her but we have had some changes in circumstamces and really think it would be best to find someone that has some more time for her.
