While waiting for his forever home, MacKenzie was moved to a different foster home, filled with kids, where he gets led around on leash in the backyard by youngsters. His stunning good looks match his kind heart and easy going way about him; although his dad is assumed to be a Shepherd mix type, we did see a picture of mom (now fixed and happy staying put with her family). Mom definitely looked like a Flat Coated Retriever mix. MacKenzie has the intelligence, sensitivity, and alertness of both a Shepherd and Retriever. He is a great addition to his foster home where he spend his afternoons in the back yard with the kids. He would appreciate a home now where people take him on walks around the neighborhood, downtown once in awhile, and give him some focused attention on training him. He is so smart and will thrive on people putting that extra time into him; and it will make him happier than ever to make you proud of him. Are you ready for a best friend with four legs?
