Caregiver for 20 year old with Down Syndrome

We need companion help for 20 year old son with Down Syndrome. He is very independent but had decline from being home during Covid. He is in speech therapy and occupational therapy once a week and needs someone to take him places to prepare for training program in the fall. The more active and compassionate, the easier it will be. Must like animals and be comfortable around a pool. He swims well independently, so you don’t have to swim or get in if you don’t want to. He can be stubborn and challenging unless you can talk to him like an adult. He is aware of who treats him respectfully and fairly. He doesn’t need bribes, he just needs positive reinforcement. Hours can be very flexible on days and times but need consistent schedule once decided upon when. Mon-Friday 9am-4pm is available. 3 or 4 days is possibility too. $22 + per hour.
