Description

This 3 month old Border Collie puppy currently known as "Cow" is looking for a new happy home. She came into my possession when she showed up unexpectedly in my backyard with a collar but no tag. Upon taking her to the local vet we were informed of her age, her health, and the fact that she had been chipped. Her original owners were informed and days passed by without a call to reclaim this lost puppy. I am now her proud foster parent and have been currently working on leash walking, crate training, potty training, and general obedience. Being that she is a Border Collie, Cow is an incredibly high energy and affectionate pup. She loves to play with toys, people, and other dogs indoors and outdoors but has not been observed around children by me before. Cow receives frequent flea baths as a safety precaution during the summer season and is currently teething so teething toys are a MUST. She is currently eating dry food twice daily, is working on relaxed eating, and has shown some signs of food aggression around other dogs. At this moment in time she is successfully crate sleeping and doing very well with leash walking. Her favorite pass times are tug and fetch and she does fairly well in the bath but HATES blowdryers. Requirements... $350 adoption fee. A home visit and inspection prior to a puppy meet and greet. A spacious backyard. Prepared crate, bed, puppy food, bathing soap, toys, leash and harness at least one day before drop off. What you will receive... Chip ID information, current collar, and current dog food to mix with your dog food of choice in order to gradually transition her diet without causing digestive issues.
