Description

Norflex, a manufacturer specializing in high-quality films used for industrial packaging and agricultural applications, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in their Hudson, WI location. This role will be responsible for: • Troubleshooting (electronic, electrical and mechanical systems), rebuilding, or overhauling all types of production equipment in the facility. • Inspecting and evaluating physical plant, grounds, and related equipment. • Working with other maintenance, process and production personnel as necessary or directed in problem solving of equipment and production issues. • Reading and interpreting, on a basic level, ladder logic, pneumatic, instrumentation, hydraulic and electrical drawings and manuals • Using precision measuring, gauging tools and electrical meters; some but not limited to, DMM, AC/DC current clamp-on, megger. • Installing and removing electronic components using soldering and hand tools. • Coordinating with outside contractors to perform activities, repairs, preventive maintenance on building equipment, and building and grounds appearance. • Purchasing and managing all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in facility. Candidates must have: • Experience with AC and DC motors, starters, PLC, capacitance & inductive sensors, relays, etc. • The ability to accomplish assigned tasks unsupervised and must comply with all safety, quality, and productivity standards. • The ability to lift 60 pounds.
