Hi all,
See attached picture, I have an old moen shower/bath and the cartridge shell is stuck, I am believing its easier to change the whole faucet. In the picture behind the faucet you can see what is actually a kitchen cabinet, which i could remove then you'd have access to change the faucet from that side (without breaking shower tiles).
1- Im open for bids, I think its a couple hours work to swap the faucet. I dont think we need to change shower head or tub spout, just make the connections to the new faucet.,
2- Im suggesting $250 /labor and I would prepare and remove the 2 short kitchen cabinets (unless you insist it has the microwave attached to it etc)..
3- I think its too risky and complicated to try to remove the old cartridge shell, someone already tried and no luck...unless you have a brilliant idea...its metal and probably been there for many years. you can see it in the pic.
email me thru this ad is best. tnx
