This would entail going to Mary Sandoe House near So boulder Rec center, and visiting with Pat McCarthy, talking with him, and eventually getting him out on a walk around the neighborhood or the pedestrian path around So Boulder Rec.
Pat has dementia, and is somewhat visually compromised. He loves the outdoors and was a great outdoorsman in his day, biking, kayaking, skiing, etc. He was a highly skilled carpenter. He is a gentle man who is very frustrated that he is not allowed to leave the premises on his own, but must have an adult sign him out. We would like to get a person to walk pat 3 days per week on a somewhat regular schedule. Each visit would last around two hours. We would be able to pay $40 per visit.
