Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to add to our Platinum Pets team! Our ideal candidate should be a hard worker, who is dependable with strong communication skills. As a Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and shipping out orders, maintaining a safe and clean warehouse and shipping area along with processing product in the paint booth and oven as needed. Essential Job Functions: • Oversee all warehouse staff to ensure orders are prepped and fulfilled. • Liaison for warehouse staff and upper management to ensure all orders and tasks are being met. • Assembling orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. • Prepping products and product assembling • Palletizing products to sort, transfer, and stack on pallets • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. • Maintain quality service by following organization standards. • Maintain safe and clean work environment. This includes keeping shelves, pallet storage, workstations and shipping area clean and organized. • Completes reports by entering required information by using pick sheets and documentation paperwork • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Operate a forklift and pallet jack. • Maintain quality and housekeeping standards. • Follow all company procedures rules and regulations • Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more Preferred Education and Experience • High school diploma/equivalent or an equivalent combination of education • Forklift & Pallet Jack experience is required • Shipping experience is required Requirements • Knowledge of all shipping systems • Knowledge of shipping out orders • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions • Must follow company safety and production procedures • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to train other employees on procedures and safety • Good attendance and positive attitude Benefits Our benefits package includes the following: • Comprehensive medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance • Flexible spending accounts • 401K program • Paid time off • Paid holidays In addition to more traditional benefits, we also have a monthly fitness & wellness reimbursement program. Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
