Summary: The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for operating paint guns, using industrial powder coating oven to cure powder coated products. As well as assemble packaging, and package finished product to specifications. The training program will start off Monday through Friday 3:30pm-7:30pm until worker is trained and then powder coater will transition to weekends. Essential Job Functions: • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment • Ensure quality standards and processes are followed • Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures • Using industrial powder coating oven to cure powder coated products • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Completes reports by entering required information. • Operate a forklift and pallet jack. • Maintain quality and housekeeping standards. Preferred Education and Experience • High school diploma/equivalent or an equivalent combination of education • Previous paint line experience preferred, not required. • Production experience preferred, not required. • Powder Coat Production experience is preferred. Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, hot temperatures, chemicals and vapors.
