Description

Hi we are a Central Texas group who started a zoom webinar series last fall. We have covered several topics related to cultural and human diversity. This month we will be exploring racism as it relates to Asian Americans in Central Texas. You must be from Central Texas and be willing to zoom in as a Panelist on the Fourth Wednesday of June. So the event will be Wednesday June, 23rd from about 6:30 to about 8pm. We currently have one panelist confirmed and we are looking for 2-3 more people. We provided each panelist with a 100.00 honorarium usually sent through Venmo the next day as well as a Tshirt! If you are interested please respond to this ad. I will remove the ad when the spots are filled. For more information or to see some of our past webinars check out.... We are in partnership with Dell Medical Community Driven Initiatives. Why Can't We Be Friends? is a series of free monthly webinars that provide attendees with a judgement-free safe space to interact respectfully with panelists representing various under-represented, marginalized, and/or misunderstood groups to have honest moderated Q&A and live discussions.
