Weekday hours only, please. I am searching for a few special families in SE (or close by) to support this summer with some extra PT hours of childcare/ educational or a mini art camp in your home this summer. I was a teacher for 10 years and a summer camp director for 14 years total. I can implement activities for different ages at the same time and I am wonderful with babies. I am a holistic person and I also cook and can do personal shopping, assisting. I have 1 year old twins on Thursday mornings and I can't tell you what an honor it's been for me to step back into childcare. I feel I have so much to offer. Short bursts are fine for me as I am older, wiser and have a small photography business which is still slow from Covid (but coming back!!) I am discerning, tidy, fun and vaccinated. I also have had a fully certified background check done. I have two successful young adult children and two fantastic step children and my husband and I are restoring a magical, old house in the Woodstock area of Portland which is one of the harder things I've ever done. $22 an hour for 3 hours and up $25 an hour if you just need someone to step in and help get a handle some things because you just don't have enough arms or parents to make it all happen at once. I GET IT! I don't mind coming for two hours if you are close to Woodstock. I would also consider taking two older kids in my home and we can garden, dance, make art, cook, adventure and practice old school manners and problem solving if you just need some down time at home.
