Established Underground Utility Contractor~ has open positions for qualified and experienced Laborer (S), Pipe Layer(S) Water Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator (S), Lead W/ Testing & Tie In Experience. Full time work in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, North Phoenix West Valley Immediately. We are looking for Laborer(s) to join our team. Construction Lead with water & sewer experience. Must have knowledge of tie ins. This person must be able to perform tasks under supervision of a foreman. Knowledge of basic underground electrical materials. Candidates will be expected to knows how to build transformers, Install transformers, size conduit and boxes. Perform underground conduit installations. You should be familiar with controls, install common devices, trim boxes, fitting, Pull boxes, J boxes, Switch boxes and wire. Assist and/or complete putting transformer pads down. Knowledge underground rough-in materials and Possess blueprint knowledge with the understanding of layout from field sketches. Familiarity with installation of underground electrical pipe and installation of pad's, J - Boxes' We are looking for an experienced underground utilities Pipe Layer to join our team. This person must be a skilled and/or specializes in dirt work, excavation and installing underground utilities for new construction. We need someone who is motivated, reliable takes initiative in completing day to day tasks. You must be able to take direction and follow a task through to completion. Good communication between you and your jobsite foreman a must. You will also be expected to have the skills needed to use everyday hand tools specific to this construction field of work. Works with operators in installing residential underground infrastructure installation, such as storm, sewer, drains, irrigation lines and water. Candidates will work with grading and utility crews installing underground utilities such as water, sewer, and storm drain. You should be able to monitor, assist and work close to heavy equipment. Duties include grading trenches or culverts, sealing joints, preparing and assembling underground utility piping, checking grades and helping to fuel/maintain equipment. Using a variety of power and hand tools. Working daily around heavy equipment. Other duties as assigned. We are looking for Equipment operator to join our team. Operate excavation construction equipment for the installation of Water, Sewer and Storm Drain, (Track hoes, Backhoes, Loaders & Mini Ex). Follow NPL Safety guidelines and procedures as well as properly follow laws, regulations regarding work in Blue Staked work areas. Load / unload equipment and materials. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors. Knowledge of construction stakes and grades. Competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation requirements. Reliable transportation are necessary. Working interview and job walk required for operators. Properly follow laws, regulations and guidelines regarding work in Blue Staked work areas Load and unload equipment and materials Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors Education, Skills, Experience Needed 12 months’ experience operating track hoes, backhoes, loaders, compaction equipment preferable Must have experience in the Water, Sewer, Storm Drain or underground utility field Knowledge of construction stakes and grades Competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation requirements Reliable transportation are necessary.
