Giving this a whirl to see who all might be out there... First things first: this is not a paid gig. We are a little DIY band. We've had a bit of press coverage, released a few records, played tons of shows over the years, but, we are not making any money yet. Semi-recent transplants from Brooklyn. Two singles into our current release cycle. New album dropping in a few months. Now getting around to figuring out what our next chapter as a live band will be as shows are starting to happen again and we will definitely have some coming up. We'd need you to learn sour songs, obviously. We'd also like it if you were down to play shows in surrounding cities with us (and maybe some regional touring if things worked out.) But, with that said, we'd also consider satellite personnel for Philly shows only, if that was the extent of your availability. Me: singer/ guitarist/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer Her: Keyboards/ synths/ samples You: -- Maybe you are a tight, dynamic drummer or percussionist who is comfortable playing to a click track live and operating Ableton from a laptop. -- A bass player who plays with a pick and likes Peter Hook, Carlos D., Martyn P. Casey, Scott Devendorf, Scott Davidson, etc. -- An electronic musician/ producer who could run playback/Ableton, play keys, trigger samples, etc. -- A piano player -- A multi-instrumentalist -- A horn player or string player Bands and artists we like: Protomartyr, Preoccupations, Drab Majesty, Black Marble, Depeche Mode, Cold Cave, Interpol, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey, Echo and the Bunnymen, Patti Smith, The Cure, Deerhunter, Stereolab, Broadcast, Crystal Stilts, REM, Sonic Youth, VU, Swans, Devendra, Black Lips, Flaming Lips, Pavement, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Cocteau Twins, David Lynch, Dylan, Kurt Vile, millions of other things but hopefully you get the idea.
