I have a small urban farm on 1 acre of land. I need a dog that has been around free ranging poultry and is safe with cats and kids. My family will treat our new dog as a family pet and will spend a lot of time with them during the day. At night the dog will be on the farm to patrol. I am not looking for a specific breed or gender. I will expect to see the dog around poultry before bringing them home. I have been duped before, and I won't let that happen again.
