We produce and sell products to the live event industry. Looking for a motivated self starter and fast learner. Much of your time would be assembling cables. We can teach anyone with good mechanical aptitude and generally handy. Soldering experience is extremely helpful and we can teach if you have the ability to learn. Must have some knowledge and familiarity with the use of hand tools, be able to measure accurately, and make legible notes when needed. The more handy you are, the better. Duties also include unloading of sea containers (1-2x per month), assist with stocking materials, pulling materials for orders, and lifting up to 60-65 pounds by yourself. Other items get moved that are heavier and done with two people. Must read speak/understand English with fluency. Ability to count products without mistakes and to assist in appropriate packing of orders. Many of the items we ship are large, bulky, and on 8 and 10' pallets. Packing experience is a big plus. Neat/clean work style, always ready to grab a broom or pickup any mess left from packing or otherwise. Computer skills not needed but are a plus. Hours are 9am - 5PM Mon-Friday. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to interact with others in a work environment that is often high pressure is a must. Keeping cool at all times is required. This is a hourly position and a minimum of 30 hours/week is guaranteed but generally 40 hours, overtime also happens occasionally. Legal citizens only.
