Adecco is currently assisting a local client, recruiting for a Porter role in Brooklyn, NY. Please review the requirements below and apply if you feel you fit the description. These are temp to  perm opportunities. Job Summary Seeking a responsible self-starter to join a team of facilities personnel to help support a 600,000-square foot building. Responsibilities • Clean all common areas including but not limited to the elevators, elevator lobbies, compactor area, and hallways daily. • Sweep/mop all assigned areas; stairways, hallways, building entrances, loading bays, and common areas. • Keep the property, trash receptacle areas, hallways, common areas, perimeter of the building, loading bays, compactor area, parking lots, in a neat and orderly manner preventing trash and debris from accumulating. • Support construction debris removal periodically. • Assist or perform all work associated with the maintenance of the grounds at the direction of the facilities team. • Empty garbage containers on all eight floors. • Dust all fixtures in common areas. Qualifications • Professional and reliable. • Experience in related field and/or willingness to learn. • Team player. • Ability to multitask. • Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying. 8am -4pm Monday - Friday
