Hey Rockers! I'm a drummer currently renting a medium-sized studio at Empire Studios in DT BK, looking to find some musicians to share the space with starting JULY 1. I've been in the space for 7 months, using it as both a drum practice room and video studio. I'm moving my video studio out and want to keep my drums intact but don't want to absorb the full rent. The rent is $700 a month, and the room is 9' x 14'. I want to find either some musicians to jam with (originals and some covers) OR musicians who want to work out a shared deal. I am flexible with my practice time. These studios don't come up often, and this is a great space with many talented people around in the other spaces. IF you'd be interested in sharing and jamming with me, the best I can describe my playing is Yacht Metal Pop. 🤣 I am an amateur drummer who has a good understanding of many styles of music and can play many covers and hang with those who want to write original music. I'm particularly looking for BASS and KEYS to start. Sorry guitarists, I know too many of you! 🤘 To give an example of my influences and stuff I play to, here you go...I'm all about playing the song and not a busy drummer. Although, I like to swing and shuffle. Toto, MJ, Quincy Jones, Prince, The Beatles, Simple Minds, Level 42, Journey, VH, Robert Palmer, CHIC, Steely Dan, Utopia, Boz Scaggs, Hall, and Oates. Metallica, Maiden, Leppard, EWF, Soundgarden, George Benson, Gino Vanelli, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, and so on... If this sounds interesting please give me a shout!
