Description
Facilities Manager for shopping centers. Full-time position, $20/hour plus overtime, benefits include Medical Insurance, paid time off, profit sharing plan. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Principal Responsibilities:
Work with your hands to resolve maintenance issues that occur at the properties. Ensuring the properties are safe and always make a good impression of the tenants and customers. Supervising and setting the project list and schedule for Maintenance Tech who will report directly to you.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate.
• Two (2) years’ experience in the maintenance field
• Must be able to send/receive emails, scan documents, use iPhone/iPad, enter & close out work orders.
• Using your hands and skills to repair maintenance issues yourself.
• General maintenance may include, but is not limited to: replacing light bulbs, patching walls, painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, installing signs, installing doors, change ceiling tiles, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, schematic drawings and related documents a plus.
• Working knowledge of Computer applications including MS Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with Tenants, purveyors, co-workers, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Strong organizational skills
• Manage and delegate work according to priorities.
• Coordinate and work with contractors
• Knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems.
