Bobcat of Helena is seeking a Technician for our Helena store. Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs of equipment. Duties / Responsibilities: • Services of all types including: major electrical, hydraulic and/or diesel engine repairs of all types of construction equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop: • Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment • Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems • Determine proper sequence of repairs, control costs and analyze additional repair needs. • Gathers parts needed for repair, using parts book to accurately determine correct parts required for the job • Performs check-ins and safety inspections of equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed • Prepare equipment for delivery • Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings. • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Advanced mechanical skills and ability to work with a wide variety of hand tools and power tools • Working knowledge of hydraulics and structural steel components • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work alone or as a team • Computer Skills required • Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service • Physical Characteristics: Must be able to stand for long periods of time along with walking, sitting, repetitive climbing stairs, reaching (including but not limited to above-shoulder reaching), repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, leaning and twisting. Exposure to extreme temperatures and environment. Exposure to high noise level, fumes, and a shop environment. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds• Must possess a valid driver's license Education and Work Experience: • High School Diploma or GED • Experience with heavy equipment operation, large construction projects, farming equipment or engineered equipment with minimum 1 year experience in a comparable field preferred Interviews will be completed upon receipt of resume or completed generic application sent to Anna by email: [email protected].
