This mommy-daughter dance fitness duo loves to take family trips around the world through music and dance and invites you to come along! How It Works: Zumba® Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure. Benefits: Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives by making fitness fun. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, cultural awareness. *This monthly activity was made possible by a community partnership between MacArthur Center and NewMan Fitness Foundation. Tanecia Newman, Founder and CEO of NewMan Fitness Foundation. She has established roots in the community through her philanthropic work which includes, leading a host of fitness events that raises awareness on social and economic issues; providing access to free or low-cost fitness programs to underserved communities and underprivileged populations; and volunteering her time and talents to various community outreach events with a variety of faith-based and nonprofit organizations. Her mission is simple: To be a real life example of health & beauty; sharing her journey and experiences to living a life of wellness.
