Cornhole Game - Beginning Woodworking @The Foundry TWO GAME PANELS, TWO PEOPLE - One Complete Game Set! Cornhole Game - Beginning Woodworking @The Foundry TWO GAME PANELS, TWO PEOPLE - One Complete Game Set! Friday, July 23 - 6-10pm Working together as a team- you'll build a set of classic cornhole game boards while learning basic woodworking techniques -- using different saws, drills, and assembly methods. Because these game elements must be built to regulation, we will guide the group through measuring boards to meet those specific dimensions. Each pair of participants will build and take home two completed (but unpainted) boards - perfect for some outdoor spring into summer fun! This class will cover: Reading plansProject layout and measurementUsing different blades and cutting toolsDifferent types of joineryScraping and SandingDiscussion of finishing and painting woodClass Cost: $200 (Includes two boards and beanie bags.) Class Size: Min 3 pairs/Max 4 pairs This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of the status of class the Monday prior to the first session. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund. Ages: 16+ PLEASE NOTE: The class will be held at The Foundry in our woodshop and outdoor patio with plenty of space to adhere to proper social distancing. We will be running our vent hoods to encourage adequate ventilation and will open garage doors to the outside air. You will be required to wear a mask (please bring your own) and fill out our health screening assessment form. For the safety of our instructors and participants, anyone who does not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.
