A Taste of Vegan is back and better than ever with a new date, location and more! A Taste of Vegan is back and better than ever with a new date, location and more! As vegan eating gains momentum and proves its lasting power, this fundraising event is an opportunity for local restaurants to showcase their vegan menu offerings and is a great time to introduce your omni friends to a delicious “taste of vegan!” Guests are welcome to come unwind and enjoy live music while tasting vegan samples from a variety of local restaurants. Guests are also welcome to peruse our vegan vendors market. (The Vegan Vendors Market will be taking place in the adjacent rink from 10-6pm on August 1st, 2021 with free entry.) All sales are final and proceeds will directly benefit the annual festival which will be held at Buffalo Riverworks on Sunday, September 26th, 2021. In the spirit of eating sustainably, we are pleased to share that each guest will receive a reusable sampling spork keepsake with the purchase of their ticket and all sampling paperware will be recyclable or biodegradable! This fundraising event will be held on the rink closest to the parking lot of Buffalo Riverworks’ Arena . General admission will open at 12pm and will run until 2:00pm. Tickets are presale only and VIP is limited to only 50 tickets total so grab yours while you can! General Admission Tickets are $40 and include: - One reusable sampling spork keepsake - One punch card to taste every sample in the house!! (General Admission doors open at 12pm) VIP Tickets are $60 and include: - One VIP wristband gaining access to the VIP area with additional exclusive samplings - One reusable sampling spork keepsake - One punch card to taste every sample in the house!! *Please remember that this is a private fundraising event to support our main festival on September 26th, 2021. As this is a tasting event, all samples will be small or bite-sized portions. Additional beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. **All vendors are bound by contract to ensure an equally enjoyable experience for each of our guests.** WNY VEGFEST is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. It is the mission of the organization to host fun, welcoming, and educational outreach events to promote a vegan lifestyle to the public and encourage local restaurants and retailers to increase their vegan offerings. Buffalo and Western New York have seen an explosion of interest in health, compassion and plant-based eating over the last few years, and together with the help of local veg advocacy groups and sanctuaries the WNY VegFest is helping to spread the life affirming message of a plant based diet.
