It's Everyone's Fight!! Year after year, our community comes together and makes a powerful impact in showing It's Everyone's Fight! Working hand in hand, we have helped save over 300 lives through free mammogram screenings, follow-ups, and/or chemo treatments. Our hope is to continue to do more. The 8th Annual Breast Cancer 5K Walk will be Saturday, October 16 at Lions Club Park at 8am on the Hike & Bike Trail. All are encouraged to participate in person; however, we will be offering the option of Walking Pods at a location of your choice while Zooming via Live stream during the Walk. This year's sponsors' include H-E-B, Mac Haik Temple, Chik-Fil-A Killeen, Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, the City of Killeen, Holiday Inn Express, The Family of Bridgette Williams, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Omicron Pi Chapter, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Greater Killeen Community Clinic, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Killeen Alumnae Chapter, and the City of Killeen. Together, we are working hand in hand to bring awareness to breast cancer to the community! Funds will go towards providing free mammogram screenings to men and women who qualify and are uninsured.
