Future 626 Night Market - Bay Area dates: August 20-22 & September 24-26, 2021 The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) strongly recommends that all attendees be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending. Masks are strongly recommended and required for non-vaccinated attendees. As always, our procedures may change as we continue to update our health and safety processes based on guidance from the State of California and local health officials. Attendees assume the risk of attending large crowded events where the vaccine status of others in attendance may be unknown to the individuals and for populations that may not currently be eligible for vaccination, or may be immunocompromised and whose vaccine protection may be incomplete. 626 Night Market is inspired by the famous open-air nighttime bazaars of Asia, where people come together to eat, drink and socialize. Established in 2012, the large-scale market is named after the 626 area code region of San Gabriel Valley, northeast of Los Angeles. The iconic Californian festival features 250+ food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions in an epic event that appeals to all ages with up to 100,000 attendees per 3-day weekend. The flagship event is held at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Two additional events at more locations were added to meet popular demand: OC Night Market at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa in 2014 and NorCal Night Market at Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton in 2018. In early 2020, all events were renamed to 626 Night Market, with OC Night Market now referred to as 626 Night Market - OC and NorCal Night Market as 626 Night Market - Bay Area. 626 Night Market aims to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent including chefs, entrepreneurs, and artists.
