Black and Brown Communities of Wilson, let's carve our space in society. Let's talk about the things that connect us & how to celebrate us. We will have local leader, Yolanda Taylor, talk to us about some subjects that are difficult to talk about but are the realities we face as BIPOC. The history of Juneteenth has been inivisibilized by white supremacy and we need to learn to unlearn and re-learn. Scarcity Mindset is the notion that if one community receives intentional investment it will take away from the resources that are available to another community. Let's switch to abundace mindset, and start to see that there is enough space for everyone. It is beneficial if we all grow.
