BSIS CA FIREARMS REQUALS Due to COVID-19, class size is limited to 8 students and MUST wear face mask. ALL students must register on-line to attend. This class is required by the State Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) for guards wishing to carry an exposed firearm on duty, armored car guards, armed alarm response agents and private investigators. This refresher course will review CA Firearms Laws as well as the the Fundamentals of Firearms Safety. To add a caliber is $75. Security Officers are encouraged to bring their assign firearms, however, we will provide all training materials. The range portion of training may take place with a firearms simulator or Insights, 17020 Alburtis, Artesia, CA. All range fees, ammunition and firearms are included in the price of the class. Please bring a copy of your guard card and proof of citizenship which can include a birth certificate, passport, resident card, military identification card or DD Form 214. Must register to attend.
