New Advanced Learning Program for Children Ages 5-6. Educare Children's Center's rich Montessori preschool program, is offering a supplementary program for children ages 5-6 beginning September 9, 2020. This exciting, advanced learning program has been developed during this challenging time to support children, and their families, who are no longer moving onto Kindergarten due to the pandemic. This class limits to 12 children with two teachers, with all curricula done in English and Spanish and paced on individual ability. We teach in accordance with the Montessori philosophy of an individualized approach: Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions) and Language Arts ( phonetic sounds, reading skills including silent letters, sight words, synonyms, homonyms and blending of consonants, writing short sentences and understanding the structure of a sentence, i.e., pronouns, adjectives and verbs.) Educare Children's Center serves children two years to age 6. We are a privately owned, licensed, and independent school. Educare was founded in 2009 by owner and director Rossana Broll. The Montessori curriculum offers unlimited opportunities for self-initiated activities that allow children to naturally learn as many skills as they are ready to learn. The different areas of the curriculum are carefully prepared and periodically changed to offer children practical, fun, interesting activities in which they can learn about the world in their own environment.
