Description

We are holding a Bike Rodeo to practice bike riding! We will have a variety of bike riding activities and a snack! Bike Rodeo is for past participants of an iCan Bike Camp. Join us for a night of riding, socializing, and snacking! This will be the perfect opportunity for your rider to practice their new skills by participating in a variety of bike riding activities! The Bike Rodeo will be held at The Reno-Sparks Convention Center, 4590 South Virginia St. North parking lot Participant Qualifications: Participant in an iCan Bike Camp or knows how to ride a bikeRiders must have a diagnosed disabilityRiders must be at least 8 years old or older.Riders need to bring their own two-wheeled bike and helmet to Bike Rodeo! The Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities (NCED) is located in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Nevada, Reno and serves as Nevada’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). UCEDDs work to accomplish a shared vision that foresees a nation in which all Americans, including Americans with disabilities, participate fully in their communities. Independence, productivity and community inclusion are key components of this vision.
