WAUKESHA, WI—A cat missing for two days was reunited with its owner on Wednesday. Tim Fleming, Waukesha battalion chief, said a person reported hearing a cat in a storm sewer in the 300 block of West North Street and reported it to the Waukesha Fire Department. The department's special service team did a confined space entry to get into the sewer. The cat was rescued within 30 minutes, Fleming said. "We rescued the cat from the storm sewer and reunited it with the happy owner," he said. Fleming said it is not known where the cat was leading up to being found. He reminded people to call the fire department if an animal is stuck in a drain. "It takes a lot of training, precautions and equipment," Fleming told Patch. Patch is trying to locate the cat owner for an interview.
