Window & Door Installation Tech – Lead Technician The owner of Lake Washington Windows and Doors is in search of an excellent long-term colleague to add to our family. Specifically, we need an excellent Lead Installation Technician for our crews, who takes pride in her/his workmanship and enjoys putting a smile on our customer’s face. We prefer a candidate with at least 5 years of construction experience however, we are willing to train a high aptitude, mechanically inclined candidate who may have less than 5 years of construction experience, but fits our company values based on respecting all individuals, continuous improvement, and a commitment to customer care! The working Lead technician will showcase his/her carpentry skills and guide a 2 to 3-person crew replacing windows and doors on residential homes. The work includes providing clear and friendly communication to our customer, ensuring your team provides excellent customer service, maintaining a high standard of home protection and jobsite cleanliness, utilizing saws and tools to carefully replace windows and doors, the skilled installation of interior and exterior trim, the clean application of sealants, and basic framing and reconstruction skills. The lead technician should enjoy coaching, is a team player, trust-worthy, reliable, able to effectively problem solve, has good written skills, and able to work effectively on a deadline. Requirements: Valid driver’s license with good driving record, able to work comfortably off ground, able to work overtime when needed, clean and neat appearance. Start time 6:30am potentially OT based on customer demand.
