We are rehomeing our sweet Siberian Husky Alaskan Malamute mix. He is 10 months old and weighs 80 pounds. He is UTD on vaccines and has been neutered. We have owned him since he was 8 weeks new. We live on ten unfenced acres and Kenai needs a fenced yard so he can have more freedom to roam a bit than we can offer him here. He has the sweetest personality and is a gentle giant, unless you’re a cat, chicken, or other small critter 😄 He is excellent with other dogs though. He has never met another dog he doesn’t like. He loves kids, too! Heck, he’s still a kid himself. Kenai is an obedient dog, except for when he sees a squirrel or bunny he feels like chasing. Because of his size, he needs someone strong enough to maintain a hold on the leash if some such animal should cross your path. He travels very well. We have taken him on hikes and road trips (Oregon Coast and Montana). He loves going to the dog park. We jokingly say that Kenai reminds us of Hoss, from the original Bonanza. He’s a giant teddy bear of a dog with a very good heart. Rehoming fee applies.
