Officers arrived and the man threatened to assault them. As officers attempted to take the man into custody, he assaulted them before being arrested. Tyler Green, 28, of Centreville, was charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement, abduction, disorderly conduct and drunk in public. MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION ROBBERY: 8600 block of Village Way, 6/4/21, 10:56 a.m.The victim was approached by two men who implied they had a gun and demanded property before running away.   COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6305 Richmond Highway (T-Mobile), 6/8/21, 6:45 p.m. Three men entered the business, took property, and threatened an employee before leaving in a car. MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION No events to report. MASON DISTRICT STATION ROBBERY: 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, 6/5/21, 9:01 p.m.The victim was approached by a man with a knife who demanded property before running away. ROBBERY: 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, 6/5/21, 10:13 p.m.Two victims were approached by a man with a knife who demanded property and physically assaulted a victim before running away. No injuries were reported. ROBBERY: 6000 block of Vista Drive, 6/6/21, 1:47 a.m. A man reported he was assaulted by several people who took his property and ran away. The man was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life threatening. ROBBERY: 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, 6/8/21, 10:37 a.m. The victim was approached by a man with a knife who took cash and property before running away.   ROBBERY: 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, 6/8/21, 4:57 p.m. The victim was approached by a man with a knife who demanded property and assaulted him before running away. The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life threatening. RESTON DISTRICT STATION RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 1700 block of Torrey Pines Court, 6/10/21, 2:49 a.m.A homeowner heard gunshots during the night and awoke to find damage to a car and property. No injuries were reported.Officers located cartridge casings nearby. FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION SHOOTING/CARJACKING: 3100 block of Franconia Road, 6/6/21, 10:20 p.m. A couple met the suspect to sell a 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 they listed in an online marketplace. The suspect test drove the car with the couple. During the test drive, the suspect stopped the car and shot the woman multiple times. The woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 8400 block of Old Keene Mill Road, 6/7/21, 2:30 a.m. A man fired a gun after an argument and drove away from the scene. Officers located the car and discovered a spent shell casing and a gun. Charges are pending. WEAPON VIOLATIONS: 4700 block of Commons Drive, 6/7/21, 7:30 p.m. Officers located a man who was illegally parked and discovered that he was in possession of a loaded firearm. Carlos Moreno Jr., 22, of Annandale, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and served with outstanding warrants from a neighboring jurisdiction. FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION VEHICLE PURSUIT/DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 3rd OFFENSE: 13700 block of Atlantis Street, 6/9/21, 12:52 a.m. Officers attempted to wake a driver who was asleep behind the wheel. The driver awoke and sped away, resulting in a pursuit. The driver pulled into an apartment complex and attempted to walk away but was stopped by officers. Shaun Judah, 27, of Herndon, was charged with driving while intoxicated (3rd offense in 10 years), eluding, driving on a revoked or suspended license and refusal of intoxication testing (2nd offense).
