Job Overview: CA Electronic Asset Recovery (CEAR) is a technological leader in the electronic waste industry and has been proudly providing service since the year 2000. Located in the Mather area, our client list includes major corporations, government agencies, small businesses, and civic organizations. Our business began with a vision for environmental sustainability and electronic asset recovery. We are seeking a full-time eCommerce Shipping Associate to perform all aspects of packing and shipping online sales orders, as well as general warehouse tasks and upkeep. Duties & Responsibilities: ● Order Fulfillment - label, package and ship daily eBay orders. ● Processes orders and interact with customers for local pickup. ● Maintains and organizes inventory of all shipping materials. ● Keeps record of shipping invoices. ● Transfers packaged orders from the warehouse to the shipping carrier vehicle. ● Data Entry – Enters data in CEAR’s online inventory system. ● Assists Dismantling Personnel with the organization of hardware components. ● Solves shipping challenges with creative and economical solutions. ● Works closely with the Sales Personnel to efficiently process order information. ● Understands and applies different Hazmat and Safety Labels to packaged orders. ● Makes sure all orders are accurate and properly packaged and shipped by the specified date. ● Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. Qualifications: ● High School Diploma or equivalent required. ● Passion for computers, willing to learn more about technology. ● Basic understanding of various shipping carriers and services. ● Detail-oriented, great organizational skills. ● Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines. ● Able to lift and transport computers and related equipment up to fifty pounds. ● Ability to learn to operate tools, warehouse, and material handling equipment. ● Able to work in an office and warehouse environment. ● Forklift and pallet jack driving experience is a plus, but not required. ● Must be able to pass the Drug Test and Background Check. ● Hours of operation: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday through Friday).
