We bought a property in weaverville and are building it out, and we need help on several different fronts, with different types of tasks. I'm having some health stuff and things don't get done that need to.
Looking for someone with experience, project management type skills, and strong communication skills, who can lift heavy items.
Potential tasks depending on your skill set (you don't have to be able to do all of these, just let us know)
Home stuff
errands, grocery shopping, furniture and home design shopping, cooking, moving furniture
Online stuff that can be done remotely
Book flights. Buy things, research things.
Farm stuff
would need someone strong — carry *50 pound bags of feed for example
watering, planting, feeding animals
Building
communicate with builders, site planner, septic install, inspectors if needed
help with design decisions
Handyman stuff
Fix things, plumbing, etc.
Events
Setup, breakdown, cleanup
You will need a car, and can use our suv if needed for picking up big things.
Hours: Pretty flexible, but needs to be daytime hours, and we can work around your schedule. Our needs change week to week, so looking for someone who is somewhat flexible. If you need a base weekly pay, let us know, we can probably work it out.
Pay: $20-30/hr, depending on experience and efficiency.
This is an 8 week placement with potential to develop into a longer term position.
