The suspects representing themselves as employees of the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office are falsely informing victims they have a warrant for their arrest for failing to appear in court as a witness. The suspects then inform the victim they can place a hold on the warrant if they pay a fine.   The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office and their employees do not solicit payment for any fines over the phone or in person.   This press release was produced by the Sedgwick County Kansas Sheriff's Office.
