Press release from the City of San Clemente: 06/10/2021 4:52 PM FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE6/10/2021 Extra Junior Lifeguard Swim Test Date to be Held June 15, 2021 Spots still available in Junior Lifeguard Program for Afternoon Session II & III PM 6/10/2021…San Clemente, California… The City of San Clemente Marine Safety Division is pleased to announce the addition of one final swim test date to accommodate kids wanting to participate in the Junior Lifeguard Program. The swim test will be held at the San Clemente Aquatic Center at 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa on Tuesday, June 15, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Parents may register their child for a swim test at www.san-clemente.org/JG; walk-ins are not permitted. The swim test costs $5.00 (non-refundable). On the day of the test, please provide proof of age (birth certificate or passport) and proof of residency for San Clemente residents (utility bill). Both printed and electronic copies are accepted. Participants must successfully swim 100 yards in under two minutes to be eligible to register for the Junior Lifeguard Program.
