PORTSMOUTH–Tuesdays on the Terrace, the popular open-air acoustic music concert series, returns to Strawbery Banke Museum. Amid the summer splendor of Puddle Dock, this popular concert series is held every Tuesday night from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, June 22 through September 14, 2021. Guests bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the open-air concerts featuring music by local artists. Admission is $5 (museum members, free). This year's schedule includes many new and favorite "Tuesdays on the Terrace" artists: June 22, Celia Woodsmith - Gritty Folk June 29, Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki with Matt Jensen - Celtic and Traditional Irish July 6, Prescott Park Arts Festival - Performing Arts July 13, The Big Note Trio featuring Ben Baldwin, Kent Allyn & Jesse Williams - American Popular July 20, Tom Richter & The Sidewalk Boys - Folk and Raggy Blues July 27, Bubble Magic by Sages Entertainment & Music by Mr. Aaron - Kids Night Aug. 3, Chuck Walker Trio - Jazz, Blues, and Soulful Grooves Aug. 10, Joel Cage - Acoustic Rock Aug. 17, Sharon Jones - R&B Aug. 24, Cormac McCarthy - Folk Aug. 31, Dave Gerard/Truffle - Groove Driven Americana Sept. 7, Lexi James - Country Sept. 14, Gary Sredzienski & The Serfs - Accordion Fronted Surf/Instrumental Thanks to funding from Kennebunk Savings Bank, Puddle Dock Restaurant, Xfinity, and Whole Foods Market, with additional support from The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts & National Endowment for the Arts, and The Fuller Foundation, the 2021 concert series is expanded to thirteen concerts occurring every Tuesday evening June 22 through September 14. The concerts are open to the public. To comply with physical-distancing guidelines, a limited number of tickets are sold for each concert. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended. About Strawbery Banke Museum Strawbery Banke Museum, in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH, is a 10-acre history museum interpreting over 300 years of history, from Indigenous history to the present day, through historical houses on their original foundations, heirloom gardens, traditional crafts, and costumed roleplayers who share the stories of the families who lived in the authentic waterfront neighborhood of Puddle Dock. The Museum welcomes visitors, members, schoolchildren, and volunteers for daily programs, exhibits, skating, and signature special events throughout the year.
