2 Motorcyclists In Critical Condition After Tuesday Crash

GLENVIEW, IL — Two motorcyclists are in critical condition after a crash on Interstate 294 near Glenview Tuesday night. Illinois State Police said the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. north of the Golf Road exit when one motorcyclist clipped the rear of the other motorcycle, causing both to lose control and crash. Investigators said the crash appears to be an accident. The incident closed all lanes of southbound I-294 until Wednesday morning, authorities said. Both riders were taken to a nearby hospital with "life-threatening injuries," state police told Patch. Their names have not been released.
