Glendora Appoints New Assistant City Manager

GLENDORA, CA — Moises Lopez was appointed as Glendora's newest assistant city manager during the City Council's Tuesday meeting. Lopez spent the last 15 years working for the city of Riverside where he served as an associate planner, intergovernmental relations officer and, most recently deputy city manager. Lopez is expected to start in his new role sometime later this month on in early July, according to city officials. His responsibilities in the position will include helping with the city's legislative affairs, capital projects and addressing homelessness in Glendora, city officials said. Lopez will also provide assistance with the city's 2020-2023 strategic plan. "I'm thrilled that Moises has decided to join our excellent team," Glendora City Manager Adam Raymond said in a statement. "His skill set, combined with his passion for public service, will make him a key asset to the City of Glendora."
