Block Party Takes Over Crocker Park On Sunday

WESTLAKE, OH — Crocker Park's first community block party of the summer will be held Sunday. The event will feature law enforcement vehicles on display, the Crocker Bark 5K, and live music. There will also be a live reptile show, chalk art stations, vendors, K9 police unit demonstrations, internet safety seminars, and more. The Crocker Bark 5K is a pet-friendly race that supports the Westlake police K9 unit. Registration is $30 and participants get a T-shirt, a swag bag and brunch specials. Winners will get medals, according to the event website. Following the race, at 11 a.m., Crocker Park's streets will be taken over by a block party. The free, family-friendly event includes activities for adults and children.
