Press release from Mentor Public Library : June 11, 2021 Have you ever heard of Catharine Littlefield Greene? How about Emily Warren Roebling? They have two important things in common. One, they helped invent something that changed the world. (For Greene, it was the cotton gin; for Roebling, the Brooklyn Bridge.) Two, their inventions are often solely attributed to men. Discover the women whose inventions changed the world during an online program we're hosting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23. The talk will be hosted online via Zoom, and registration is required to get the link. Sign up online or by calling us at (440) 257-2512. This press release was produced by Mentor Public Library.
