CULVER CITY, CA — Officers helped revive an opioid overdose victim Thursday using Naloxone, or Narcan, police said.
The overdose was reported about 6:30 a.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of College Avenue, near Venice Boulevard, police said.
Officers arrived and found an unresponsive man who had suffered an opioid overdose.
"Officers quickly administered Narcan to the victim and revived him," officials said.
Culver City Fire Department arrived took the man to a hospital for further medical treatment.
"Thanks to the responding officers' quick actions, the male subject will survive and make a full recovery," officials said.
